I’m an engineer who found his way into the world of international trade—and honestly, it wasn’t part of the plan.

I grew up in Buffalo with both of my parents and my sister, surrounded by love and the kind of encouragement that makes you believe you can do anything you set your mind to. My parents believed in travel and experiencing life—they understood that the world was bigger than our neighborhood, and they made sure we saw it. That foundation shaped everything about how I move through the world today.

I started out as a mechanical and electrical engineer, cutting my teeth at Xerox and learning how things actually work, not just in theory but in practice. When I moved back home to Buffalo, a recruiter reached out with an opportunity in foreign trade, and something clicked. Suddenly, I wasn’t just building products—I was understanding how they move across borders, how global supply chains connect, and how trade shapes entire economies.

Growing up in the inner city taught me resilience and resourcefulness alongside that love and support. It also showed me the gap between what’s possible and what people believe is possible for them. That’s why I’m committed to being visible in my community—not as someone who made it out, but as someone who’s building right here, showing what’s within reach.

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial itch. In college, I founded a tech startup focused on reimagining shipping containers as building elements—turning logistics infrastructure into something that could house ideas, literally. I’ve also launched several clothing brands over the years, learning hard lessons about manufacturing, marketing, and what it takes to bring a vision to life.

These days, a big part of my focus is mentorship. I work with young men navigating that critical journey from high school through college and into their professional lives. I’ve been fortunate to have people invest in me along the way, and I take seriously the responsibility to do the same. Whether it’s talking through career decisions, entrepreneurship, or just life, I’m here to help the next generation see what’s possible.

Engineering taught me how to solve problems. Trade taught me how the world works. My parents taught me to dream without borders. Buffalo taught me who I am. And mentorship reminds me why it all matters.
